In the past several weeks since the release of Stephenie Meyer’s latest book, Midnight Sun, there has been much media attention on our little town of Forks. We have been interviewed an quoted in both the Wall Street Journal and the Seattle Times. If you have not seen the Times article, follow the following link. https://www.seattletimes.com/…/twilight-put-forks-washingt…/
The articles are quick to point out the positive impact on tourism that the release of the Twilight books and subsequent movies have had on Forks. We heartily agree that the Miller Tree Inn has benefitted from the popularity of this series and the attention of the media. Some of our visitors may have never come our way, if not for the Twilight saga. We are grateful.
Forks has much to offer visitors besides our connection to the Twilight saga. Nearby, we have beautiful beaches, pristine rivers and awesome forests. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, bike, kayak, raft and fish. Even our Twilight fans are fond of saying that they “came for Twilight, but they come back for Forks and the natural beauty of the area.”
