The Rainy Season Has Arrived

The rainy season seems to have arrived in Forks! Our guests this week have been good sports even on the day we had over an inch of rain recorded. And even though Sunday, was a rainy and windy day, yesterday was beautiful. It is just a reminder to us that if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes….
The stormy weather is great for storm watching at the beach. High winds create big waves that thunder over the beaches. It is awe inspiring. Some of the best places for storm watching are Rialto beach and the pull outs along the highway near Kalaloch.
After your storm watching, remember that 5 of our guest rooms have cozy fireplaces in front of which you can curl up with a good book or movie. And 7 of our guest rooms have either single or double whirlpool tubs in which to enjoy a relaxing soak.
Oh, and if you are a Twilight fan, these stormy days are when you are most likely to see the local vampires…
